Actually, his engine is aftermarket, not made by Ford.
IIRC, the Lotus Elise uses a Toyota engine, but still sticks Lotus on the rear facia. Mike's car is made Superformance, which has a license from Safir to use the GT40 name. So Superformance or GT40 is proper, not Ford. But owners can paint anything they want on their replica.
But I'm just giving Mike a hard time. It's his build, uh, for the 2nd time.
