Not to set you off but that 2nd pic looks like galled aluminum at the edge of the spinner base. Maybe just the reflection.
Might want to pull the spinners and make sure there's silver anti-seize on the threads and mating surface chamfers where the spinner contacts the concave of the wheel hub.
I came close to ruining a new lead hammer as mine were pretty galled and had been assembled dry. Luckily did not crack a spinner.
