Thought I had found a block, an FE forum member pointed me to a guy on Craigslist who had a '72 427 service block. I texted him and asked him what he wanted for it, he said $4000. I said, that's fine, will you ship it. His reply was, "Well, I'm not sure I want to sell it now."
Not sure why people have to be flakes, but they do.

Because you told him "that's fine" and since you didn't really barter with him he probably figures he can get a few more bills out of it. Check in a week, it will be on there for $5000... |
