Default 'Smiths' puller/blower fans? Where to replace.
I have an early Superformance (#127) and one of the puller fan motors went out. I hooked each of them up to a battery and one of the them worked. So I figured the motor is bad on the other one. They have four fan blades each and on the plastic fans they say 'Smiths'. The motors have no markings. There is a sticker on one of them that says SMSA (12 volts). I searched for the motors but could not find them. I ordered a new fan from shopsuperformance.com but the new motor does not fit my current bracket and looks larger than my bad motor. What do I do? How do I replace this motor? Any help would be appreciated.
