Ryan and I have previously chatted about the Ripoff Report. I don't have the resources to independently verify who is telling the truth, but I can state Ryan has been consistent in his response to me (December 2015) and this thread.
Ryan told me he was unable to get the original Ripoff Report posting removed stating, among other things: "The a** who runs that site won't ever delete anything."
I did notice, upon looking again today, that Web site has what they call a 'Corporate Advocacy Program' (CAP), details at:
Ripoff Report | Scams, reviews, complaints, lawsuits and frauds. File a report, post your review. Consumers educating consumers.
While 'rebuttals' are free (which Ryan posted in 2012), it appears Ripoff Report charges for their CAP. The last thing a guy running a startup company wants is more bulls**t and costs, but spending a few $$ to get something like this corrected and taken down would probably be a prudent investment.
Just my $0.02...
