In America they often use the term 'Hand Crafted Automobiles' (HCAs), which I assume means all kit cars and one-offs. I'm on the 'Clubbies' site as well and see them falling into this broader-generic category, unfortunately I can't think of any other group. I don't know a forum where the one-off folks hang out but I would assume they would probably be more S&S orientated.
Based on the interest shown in my GTO build I think a HCA concept might be worth some thought.
