DV, I have a 460,560hp in my cobra. It has alum. cobra jet heads and I run a holly 850, no choke. I have driven several 750 equipped 460's and not enough stuff goes thru them! Another note on a 460---try an aluminum flywheel. Mine cranks like a small block chevy! On the choke thing--today it is 49 outside and it was hard to get warm, but most driving is done in warmer weather and I don't miss a choke.
