Default Suspension & Steering Issue/Update

This ref’s my prior Everett Morrison Group post on suspension/tire rub issue w/photos in my album. Moving to active forum as advised. Prior update gone w/site repairs. So finally an update!

Advice led to Bob Lacey of Vintage Wheels, exp’d on wheels for my model, & Shell Valley’s parts/help. MII front is wide in early gen body/chassis. Bob provided 1” short upper/lower control arms, QA1 coil-overs & Wilwoods. Adding a Flaming River rack also. Saving 50 lbs+. Refreshed front undercoat. Tire rub only affected undercoat. Black on outer lip was rubber, no worn paint as feared.

Re-assembly was delayed 4 mo.’s for remodel. Contractor built box around car to protect. This Ark was built in one day (photo in my album)! Just unveiled car and started re-assembly. Every step is learning (satisfying after swearing ends)!

Thanks for all replies (& PM's) so far, and Bob & Shell Valley for their craft dedication. More to come…(likely in a mere matter of mo’s)! Thanks, Brent
