Scoop is molded into the hood, but the hole at the front of the scoop to allow air in had not been cut. This was not the crux of the argument, just the convenient item he latched onto in order to somehow justify his reneging on a car deal because he had more money in building it than he expected. He priced it, we agreed to a scope of work, I paid him every time he wanted money. In the end, he decided to be the shyster most of his older customers know him to be, and I had to find out the hard way.
