Well, Ross did an excellent job on the rear cover. We were going to go with the steel cover, and Ross had one in hand, but he suggested that we should try to use the alloy one as it would help with keeping the temperature down with the differential
oil, due to the cooling fins and composition of the cover. I concurred with Ross, as we will not be running an
oil cooler on the differential at this time.
Ross was able to make the adjustments and welded in deflectors and tapped the holes on the rear cover for plugs. He also added a tee at the top of the differential in case we added an
oil cooler at a later date. For now the tee will be plugged. Still have to do some final filing and fitting, but it is a definite improvement over the stock one.
