i guess i feel the need to address a couple things said.
a couple people have talked about "more than meets the eye" in reference to the suby guy making a "hot lap". now, none of us were there AT THE INSTANT, so we can all speculate. the bottom line is, hot lap or not, running video or not, CS light or not, subaru CHALLANGE the dragon or not, yokohama parada and 2k gab suspension or not, hes not the one that was in THE OTHER lane, and hes NOT the one that took off
leaving the scene of an accident which he caused. ill be the first to admit that i abhor recless driving on public roads. ive seen some friends go out and be taken out because of it. but you can have a "spirited" run, or even "challange" the dragon without be out of controll or recless. to all these people talking about reclessness, do you ever speed?
i think the big thing that he/we are upset about isnt so much that he got run off, but that the guy left him unkownst to the condition of either him or his car. i get the strong impression that had the guy stopped, accepted his blame and made arrangements for fair restitution we wouldnt be were we are now.
at any rate, i also feel its important to remember this is NOT a suby vs cobra episode or anything of the sort. its simply a victim against a felon, the latter of whom happened to be driving a cobra.
i would like to further extend my thanks to all those that have been helpful and supportive in this matter in getting it resolved quickly.
keep motoring, safely.
