Default Shiny stuff

I don't know how active this group is or if there's a new one now that LS is Ultimate Classic Cars, but here goes...

These are just a couple little upgrades I finally got around to recently.

1) The way the alternator tensioning bar crosses directly in front of the thermostat housing on a 351w has always bothered me. We made a rough bracket to raise this out of the way years ago and have been running a "normal" thermostat housing rather than the 90 deg vertical style. I finally got around to making a nicer one recently.

2) My 9" burps. I had a nice coating of oil all over the rear end by the time I realized where it was coming from. Even with the vent hose stuck inside the frame I'd get dribbles. I like making stuff so I machined this little reservoir tank today. It's not the lightest or most efficient design, but I liked how it came out. Just waiting on a barb fitting.
