Default Installing a new Harmonic Balancer key, a new Spacer, and a new Harmonic Balancer

The next step in my engine swap from a 520 to a 502 will be to install the new (unweighted) harmonic balancer spacer, the new harmonic balancer key, and the old harmonic balancer from the 520 onto the 502. It'll be a bit different from a small block Chevy, which does not use a spacer. I imagine the procedure to be something like this:

1. Grease the spacer then place it on the crankshaft, aligned with the crankshaft timing gear key.
2. Tap the harmonic balancer key in place using a rubber hammer.
3. Heatup the harmonic balancer in boiling water to expand the hub.
4. Install the (greased) harmonic balancer on the crankshaft, aligned with the harmonic balancer key, using a block of wood and a hammer to get it started.
5. Tighten the crankshaft bolt to complete the installation.

Any helpful hints? Should I expect this to be a straight forward installation, or can I expect the interference fit to give me problems?
