Had a brilliant day today....
One of my club members ( Ken Gibson) contacted the Brisbane city council, and asked if they wanted the Cobras to help again for a ticker tape parade through the city centre, for the
new WBO welterweight champion, Jeff Horn.
(We've done a few of these over the years...but usually for a team...Brisbane roar/Queensland Firebirds etc.)
They rang back last night, and said they'd only needed two Cobras , one for Jeff and his wife, and one for the trainer Glenn Rushton and his wife, so Ken and I did the job.
Nicest people, humble and in awe of all of the crowd support....they loved the cars as well...bonus!!
