10 minutes after you reported the post,the spammers posts everywhere (about a dozen) are gone, and the person has been banned. In the interim, you post this?

Yes...in case you haven't noticed,I've been the only day-to-day moderator around here for the past couple of years. I move my fat ass around as fast as i can...rarely posting for my own pleasure anymore. I have to rely on members to report posts as much as my own surveillance.

Now...for my own personal pleasure...since you were so goddamn impatient and made a snide remark...take a few days off.
