Keep in mind that most people who own a BDR purchase them already built and drivable, and don't do anything more than routine maintenance and general repairs. Custom mods are not common. Unlike the FFR, there's not a lot of aftermarket support.
3. You'll have to custom fabricate that yourself.
4. You want some
oil to flow through the cooler at all times. Otherwise, some of the oil will warm up, the thermostat will open up, and cold slug of oil will hit you bearings. And that's a bad thing.
5. Spal makes a couple of efficient pusher fans that might work for you, depending on what you have in mind.
