Like the guys have already said it is missing side bolts which means that of all the FE 427's that people would want to own this is absolutely not one. Fred's suggestion that it is something like a 390 with 427 valve covers and a rattle can paint job might be optimistic then again it might not.

My bet is that you have a basically stock passenger car engine that will likely turn out to be a 390. Check out the block identification links that spdbrake provided to you and you might get lucky and be able to identify it without disassembly.
