I'm preparing for the last show of the year and I need some help. The motor in my car is a Roush 427SR and has the normal chrome valve cover breather on the driver side. I realize that it is a breather but the
oil that leaks out drives me crazy especially when I drive the car to a show. I have tried the old hot rod trick of cutting a piece of sponge the size of the breather and placing it between the valve cover and the breather itself. It is like a doughnut with a hole in the middle to let the neck slip through. This works OK if the car is not driven too far but on longer trips I still get the leakage once the sponge gets saturated. Does anyone have another soloution?
