I tripped across this and thought I'd share. It's basically a re-bodied Pontiac Solstice with a Type 65 body. A waste of time and money, IMO.

This one of a kind Shelby Daytona Coupe is a Factory Five Kit installed onto a 2009 Pontiac Solstice hydroformed full chassis similar to Corvette. There are only a handful of Shelby Daytonas all across Canada and none for sale at the moment. Completed Daytonas start at $75,000 up so this one is definitely worth a look.

The donor car has 29,000 kms (like new) and the 2.4 L Eco-tec motor is equipped with a brand new Hahn Racecraft Stage IV Turbo Kit ( $5,000 U.S.) capable of 447 Crank HP. This project has the larger Corvette rotors and calipers installed on the front and the front Solstice brakes have been moved to the rear with a parking brake adapter kit installed. Car has race grade adjustable shocks and independent rear suspension along with Continental Extreme 245/40/ZR19 tires on front and 275/40/ZR19 on the rear on 19” MODA wheels including a 5th MODA rim for a spare. Though this project is not complete all the heavy lifting has been done.

All wiring is completed except for the windshield wipers, and the door poppers but wires are present. All lighting, signals, brakes, horn and back-up lights and instrumentation are in working order. Power window has been fabricated for driver's door. Car has a full A/C and heating system but A/C will need to be charged. Rear Plexiglass and frame require installation as well as the headlight plexiglass but it all comes with car. Car has power brakes with ABS, power steering and cruise control. I have lots of spare Solstice parts including extra seats as well.

Though not presently licensed on the road it has been registered for the road and comes with a valid Ontario ownership and can be driven with a temporary plate..
