Fuel tank vent outlet should be somewhere on top of tank. Should be 1/2" or 3/8". Take a droplight and look around for it. If you don't find it, or don't hook it up, car will stink of fuel, particularly when fueling, and the liquid fuel is displacing fuel vapors. Most gas pumps now have secondary vapor recovery that remove the fuel vapors as you're fueling. The vapors come out that little pipe, and should be connected to the tank. Also, there should be a one way check valve on the tank to allow air in as fuel is used.

Check with EM to find out where this is on your tank.

I like your ground wire on the fuel filler. Actually, you ground yourself when you first grab the gas handle. There's a metal wire inside the hose that completes the connection to ground. If the hose is damaged, and you can see a wire sticking out, use another dispenser.
