This of course was somewhat frustrating especially since I had just ordered a new rotor and cap for my old distributor. On a side note, if anyone needs a flamethrower distributor setup I have one available.
The final piece of course was installing my new valve covers (custom made by Nick Acton) the passenger side one fits great, the drivers side one will not clear the fuel lines on the side of the carbs. So I am sending it back out for re-work, and will be on the lookout for a loaner set of valve covers so that I can at least get the car running and tuned while I wait for my valve covers to get re-done.
I am now beginning to understand why no project ever stays on budget.
At least they look good.
