When my MSD 6A (analog) box failed I bought a 'Summit Racing® Multi-Spark Digital Capacitive Discharge Ignitions SUM-850610' box, but mounted it behind the dash, rather than in the engine compartment. I'm hoping the cooler environment will allow for a longer life. So far, so good, though I had to significantly change the timing for the new box.
These are supposedly made by MSD in the USA and fully 'burned in' and tested before shipping.
