Street motor, not race motor. When assembling my 351, engine, the machinist posed the same question. The rocker arms should last the life of the engine, and not be considered a replacement item after a season or two. The Comp steel Pro-Magnums are forged steel.

When you pull the heads for a valve grind, and spring replacement, send the rockers back to Comp for a rebuild, and roll 'em for another 50 - 100k miles.

Cost wise, the Gold race are about $299/set. The Pro-magnums, about $259/set. (Summit/Jegs)
