I have been using Valvoline Dot 3 & 4
Synthetic brake fluid for the last 10 years with no issues at all. I have it in my CTS V, 02 Corvette and my Tahoe. I also put in in my ERA Cobra and it's been 5 years now and no contamination at all in the system. It's recommended for all brake systems requiring Dot 3 or 4 fluid and it mixes with all brake fluids. I recently took apart my master cylinder for inspection and it was clean as could be and all the seals looked like new after 5 years. Also if you have a accident and get it on your paint it wipes right off.
