The front sway bar you removed from the front was from a full size bronco. CR used it because the dimensions were right. Well meaning advice from owners of other makes while appreciated does not apply to our cars. There are good threads about this in the CR forums. With a small block your car will ride better and handle better without a front sway bar. Unless it's getting to be a serious track car, you're better off without the rear bar too.
