Box when I built mine 15 x 12 (10.5) I had the option of having it postless by using heavier gauge steel but opted not to due to the cost.

STUPID ME! I'd have paid double now to not have the stupid things in the middle of the place.

There's also a new clear 2 post hoist on the market that only has 3.3m columns from memory so works better with lower roofs. FYI
