We used to live there (70's) and had visited frequently in the 60's. The last time I was there was in 96 when I worked briefly for Intel. The 96 view was way different from the 76 view, and I imagine the 2016 view was even more different
We both missed all those flower gardens on Baseline.
When we retired it was a toss up between Vegas and Phoenix (we were looking in/near Queen Creek) but Nevada won out with 0 state income tax. QC had the small town feel from Colorado but that had also changed a lot between 96 and 2014.
