I am always trying new products, searching for the perfect product(s) that return the best look, protection with the lest effort. I think I've found my new favorite products for black paint (similar dark colors will definitely benefit as well) through Chemical Guys.
So I prepped my paint with a washless wash (Pinnacle Liquid Crystal w/carnuba) and dried the car. I then hand applied Blacklight Radiant finish Gloss enhancer and sealant, after waiting fifteen minutes I removed the residue. The paint was very smooth, and the reflective quality was very good. Having read up on putting a top coat over the sealant I had ordered a jar of Chemical Guys Black Luminous Glow Infusion ( who thinks of these goofy names)to use. The wax is itself black to dark grey in color and is a soft paste type wax.

With just a small dap of the wax you can cover an area two feet by two feet. You want a thin even coat, and work the wax in at least two different directions that ensures even coverage. A four inch black foam pad is included for application use.
After waiting about fifteen minutes for the wax to haze I wiped it off and the finished product was amazing. When you can clearly see your tools reflected from twenty feet away you know you have reflective depth. Do you have to use both products? No, the sealant is extremely good alone, but if you are looking for the next level in shine use the wax over the sealant!

Have fun, be it driving or in the garage.
