Have you seen an ERA in person yet? The proportions are very good and the details around the fenders, side sills, cockpit, etc. emulate the original Cobra very well.

Then there is the feel of the controls, rigid chassis, good ride and excellent handling manners that do not disappoint. Plus I'm a sucker for floor mounted pedals in a car like this! The ERA was the only replica that I have driven that feels like a vintage car (in a good way) from behind the wheel.

As Patrick said, the more you learn, the better and part of that process is hands on. Many of the differences in the replica options are visual or tactile and you can't discern that from a catalog alone. Finding the best option for YOU is the challenge.
