I recently read on this site a new BDR with sticking calipers (leaked as well if I remember right) that had been Powder coated while still assembled (pistons/ etc...) and baked in the oven by the Boynton Bch folks.
Another new BDR had a bad Brake booster. I assume it was applying pressure and not retracting.
If you can while the brakes are hot pull a front wheel and crack the bleeder screw. If its under pressure and brake frees up then its upstream in the Master or Booster. To isolate the booster disconnect the Vac line at the booster and leave the booster port open. Plug the vac line with a bolt. Take another test drive.
