Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Thanks for the photos! My water pump is totally different and so is the steering shaft! The location of the inlet/outlet on your water pump would have made things much easer than mine are!

I think I have the problem solved, I’ll just have to make a bracket for the tensioner! Bring it up and in closer to the center, giving more belt wrap on the crank and water pump pulleys! To get a little more on the crank and some on the alternator I’m also adding an idler pulley between them! The tensioner is on the power side instead of the slack side of the belt! If the spring tensioner don’t cut it I will go to a manual one!

What size headers are you running on that?

Thanks again all!
