Default Rotor and spindle question

Novice question and forgive me for X-posting with the wheels and tires site, but I was under the car (KMP #174) and noticed that on both rear suspensions, the spindle is an Angstrom unit from the inner portion of the rotor. Also, a closer looks at the photos show that the rotor doesn't appear to be sitting squarely in the inside aspect of the wheel. In other words, the rotor seems to be cattywampus with respect to the inside of the wheel. The car seems to run OK, and there's no grooving on either piece, but before I pull the rear wheels I thought I 'd run this by you guys to see what the initial impressions were. thanx steve
(add: the website wouldn't let post the pictures here and the "tires and wheels" forum, os the pictures on "tires and wheels"...thanx. s)
