Let give you this to chew on, boy's. A Alfa Giulia Super (4-door) that has the shape of a brick, has far better aerodynamics, then my (2-door) Giulia GTV Coupe. Don't know why, but it's a fact. GTV's look like they could split the wind. Took 10K (engine work) to add 9MPH in (134 to 143) top speed. That was just enough to keep (Cortina's, 2002's, 356's, 510's, Elva's etc) from ganging up and drafting by. Gearing (5-speed) and Brakes (4-wheel Disc) is what made a well driven GTV unbeatable. 140 MPH in a Cortina, not easy but yes can be done. Cheers Tom.
