Dave, you'd need to talk to an engineer to ascertain compliance.

I understand because the Cooper calipers were listed as an approved Jaguar replacement in UK that they are acceptable.

I believe the Tenrocca option would be the lightest setup you could possibly achieve for track/performance work using Jaguar XJ6 suspension/brakes.

The Cooper calipers were made as an optional choice for Jaguar XJ6 restorers wanting a performance caliper. They copy the e-type alloy caliper but milled to suit XJ6 caliper mounting etc. According to Cooper's they weigh less than half the XJ6 cast iron calipers but I no longer have any cast iron calipers to compare.

As an indication of weight the Cooper Calipers fully fitted with S/S pistons, seals, pads, pins and retaining clips (ie ready to bolt to the Jag uprights) weigh 4.7Kg. They also utilize standard jaguar parts so maintenance is a breeze.
