Just got back from Winchester Speedway. We had a ball looking at old sprints and midgets and running on the track. I stayed low to stay out of trouble and let the guys who are completely familiar with their Cobras take the fast lane. I did discover though that it will accelerate fiercely in fourth gear from about 50 to 80+ on the straights...especially when you kick in the secondary venturis on the carb.

The Cobra hugged the road and felt very very stable on the track. Also nothing fell off or needed even an adjustment excpeting the inside rear view mirror which needed its fasteners tightened.

Lots of old iron including ford v8 60 powered midgets and offie powered midgets and sprints. There was a nice selection of chevy powered early Indy upright style cars too.
