The saddle is held on by flaring the top of the shaft. I pounded the flare back with a chisel, then drove the old top off. That left enough material to flare the shaft again with the new saddle.
Go to Nicks site and email or call him about the new saddles. Looks like they're out of stock but he might be casting more.
