For several years at the Spring Meet someone will walk up to me ask, "Where did our TCC Website go or You should get us a website." With the recent (and hopefully resolved) issues that ClubCobra has had and with numerous types of communication tools out there (Yahoo Groups, Facebook, Clubcobra, email, smoke-signal, etc) many times important communication does not reach all of the intended audience.

Over the past few weeks, I decided to bite the bullet and create a TEXAS COBRA CLUB forum. Soon after I showed it to some of the local Austin folks, the next question was "so are we gonna get a website too?"

So after so more thought, we, The TEXAS COBRA CLUB now have a new website to go along with the forum. The site is still in its early phases of development but there are few tools. There is a link to the forum and soon one for the Spring Meet.

I am not trying to control the club or any of the communications between members, but hopefully this will be a tool that everyone can use to communication and gather information. I will give it a GO for the next 6 months or so to see how well it will works and what the adoption rate will be.

As of now membership to the forum is OPEN. Soon you will need approval to join the TCC Forum to cut down on spammers. Inside the Forum are sub-forum for each "Chapter" and for General Topics. Please explore the new website and the forum. I am always open to suggestion to make it better and more effective.
