Linework graphics on Smiths gauges on CSX2xxx and COB6xxx cars

Can anyone shed some light for me on the "line" configuration on early CSX2xxx and COB6xxx cars?
More specifically, was there a changeover date from solid lines to hollow lines?

Here's CSX2*** (don’t know. Anybody?)
