I realized that the half shafts are different left to right by (luckily) tying to install the long one where the sort one goes...I say luckily as the short probably would appear to fit the long side, until the tri y comes out and turns the shaft into an under car scythe, unless they are replaced all at once which I tend not to do...
Anyhow the RHS is1" shorter than the LH (us drivers side)...
