I sold my original 1991 Classic Roadster a few weeks ago and got the same price I paid for it 26 years and 27,000 miles ago. I can't think of anything that I have owned that gave me so much pleasure.
I sold the Cobra through a web site called
www.bringatrailer.com its a funny name but worked for me. It didn't actually sell at my reserve price in their auction but the company gave up the rights to the buyer's commission and gave me the top bidders contact information and he bought it for my reserve.
Check out the web site they list about one Cobra replica a week. Most don't sell for their reserve but I regularly see bid prices for the nice ones bidding in the $60-70,000 range. Maybe better in the spring? Lots of interesting cars bidding every day some in the $200,000+ range.
