Default Smiths reverse wind speedo odometer un sticking

Crazily enough I posted a photo of my odo turning over 30k which is where it stayed...guess flipping all those number was just to much for it...

It's relatively easy to open:
Remove two Phillips screws from the back
Carefully pry the clips that hold the trim ring to the case one at a time from the back to the front (don't bend them) they will pop around
The trim ring glass and bezel will fall away
The workings can now be pushed out of the case
I used compressed air to blow around the workings (carefully) while jiggling the 1/10 wheel on the trip odo which seems to be the master wheel
Something blew free and the whole thing began to work...
RT commented that all it takes is a miniscule bit of something to get in there and stop it.

Putting it together is just a matter of stacking everything and popping the tabs back onto the casing (easier than removing).
The screws go in after lining up the trip rod reset in its hole...

Cheers
