Different style rear end, but that is exactly what my Jag rear did when I snapped the stub axle. It broke inside the carrier right where the axle entered the LSD unit. I even drove the car a few miles as the LSD unit was tight enough to allow me to run on just the one side as long as you didn't give it too much gas and eased out the clutch. When I put it on the lift, it did exactly as Moto One is describing.
