Ad hominem and/or personal attacks have no place on the forum. Individuals who sink to that level have run out of ideas and rational commentary. Perhaps most significantly they add nothing to the exploration of the thread subject they chose to launch the personal attacks in/on.
In a surprising but related development, carburetors without idle circuits turn out not to be able to idle! It is easy to simulate no idle circuit on carbs with idle circuits. Just close down the idle screws — the engine stops running. Even more problematic you can not start the engine. Try it, it is a mind expanding experience for the uninitiated.
