I'm going to try the Randy easy CV boot fix first too. But I ordered all the parts to have on hand anyways.
Do you happen to know the speedo cable part number from NAPA?
Randy told me to de-kink it first, then try graphite lubing the center rod-thing. I went to O'Reilly today to get the lube he told me about- they didn't have it
