Was thinking Alf, what I saw those on in the day. Mustang's, Camaro's, Roadrunner's, GtX's, pretty much the muscle cars of late 60's early 70's. They usually had "Hi-Jackers" shocks, and white painted rear-ends, (The rear end was raised up high enough to see the rear end thus, the white paint)
It was a American fad, to get the rear as high as you could, never quite figured out why you would do that. Many of my hot-rod friends ended up backward in the ditch with that set-up
They tried catching me on the back roads, with my lowered, Koni shocked, sway-bared, little 4-cly Volvo 142S
