Mine is vented from the back of the diff cover and is attached to the bottom of catch can which is mounted high up in the right rear arch of the back fender ( by the back of rear break light). Definitely seems that gravity would allow
oil in the can and hose to find its way back into the diff once cooled. Hopefully it’s setup correctly or at least satisfactory.
