I've been using UltraShift since it was first developed and would use no other. When I first got my car on the road in 2002, shifting was my number one headache. I used many other fluids, but none allowed the Syncros to perform like UltraShift.

Now that said, there are many MANY things that can cause a Tremec to shift poorly, UltraShift will not magically cure all, but when it comes to making the Syncros perform, there is nothing better. I have put UltraShift in many other Cobras and have never had anything other than positive feedback.

Other things to consider;
- Early Tremecs had a POS aluminum 1-2 Shift fork. Replace it with steel
- Make sure your Bellhousing is properly aligned/dialed in.
- Pro5 Makes a much better shifter.
- 11" or 12" clutches are bad for shifting. Smaller is better
- Worn Syncros/Blocking rings must be replaced.
- Improper clutch disengagement can cause a ton of problems.
