Well you can’t push with a cable, it can only pull. Like I was saying in my first post, Girling parking brakes work by pulling the cable lever on each caliper. When the lever is pulled, it pushed one pad and pulls the other on each caliper. It’s similar to Girlings on original Cobras. I’ll see if I can find a photo. It’ll make it easier to see.
