I had forgotten how unattractive that car was. The nose looked like it was done by a refugee from a boat yard and positioned high enough to keep the boat's nose up in the air as it went through the water. The sides and back of the car are uninspiring at best and the power plant / drivetrain positioning suggests a diminished future even as a proletariat grocery getter.
It was definitely (and mercifully) a significant step away from what was actually offered to the public for sale. Can you imagine the field day Chevy's Camaro marketing guys would have had competing for market share with that car ...
