Stitching together online pieces of a digital fingerprint for identity theft. We already have a lot of digital information strewn about, sometimes unavoidably, sometime not. This is just a matter of not making it any easier for bad guys.
When you drive down the road or park at Home Depot the only thing visible Is your plate. Online there are more pieces of your digital fingerprint than you might expect. This is just one more piece that doesn't need to be broadcast.
